Your November '25 ALL Stars

Earlier this month, you had the chance to nominate any Avon Schools employee who embodies our mission: ALL belong, learn, and grow. You nominated 113 individuals — and the entire Transportation department — and we are sending your encouraging comments directly to them.

Here's just a sample of your comments:

• She makes her class feel like a safe space and never raises her voice at students. If she notices that a student seems down she’ll ask if they’re alright and provide resources to help them. She’s super sweet and will listen to everyone.
• He always goes above and beyond. He never says anything negative and is always positive.
• She had my student as a freshman in Biology and she was an amazing teacher. My daughter absolutely loved her! Now as a sophomore, my daughter still leans on her for support with a very hard Chemistry Honors class.
• She pours her love for music into each lesson and inspires her students to play at the highest level possible. She works with each student to make sure they feel like they are heard and blends their skill levels masterfully. How lucky are we to have someone so caring, supportive, and talented working with our students!
• He goes out of his way to make sure students are able to learn as well as express themselves through arts and performances. He is a selfless individual. He’s always positive and happy as well as uplifting!
• She goes above and beyond every single day to ensure that her students have exactly what they need to succeed. Her calm, steady presence and unwavering positivity create a safe and supportive environment for everyone around her.
• My daughter is part of her 3rd grade class, and I’ve seen tremendous growth in her—not just academically, but in her confidence and belief in herself. She makes sure her students’ basic needs are met: safety, feeling seen and heard, and being respected. Our family has been blessed with some truly great teachers along the way, but she is something special.
